Banksy Geishas Bed Stuy

Banksy’s latest piece has gone up in the Bed Stuy area of New York on the 17th day of the “Better Out Than In” ‘exhibition. Depicting two Geishas, the piece sits on top of a brick arch, making good use of the environment around it.

According the New York Post, Mayor Bloomberg is on the hunt to catch the elusive artist:

“Graffiti does ruin people’s property and it’s a sign of decay and loss of control…Nobody’s a bigger supporter of the arts than I am. I just think there are some places for art and some places where — no art,”

“You running up to somebody’s property or public property and defacing it is not my definition of art,”

Also, according to the post, the piece is in Williamsburg, not Bed Stuy.
