The Elms Lesters Book – A 25th anniversary limited edition book

Author: No Comments Share:

It’s been nearly two years in the making, and with almost 600 images printed across 500 pages, this mammoth, hard-bound and boxed limited edition book covers 17 selected exhibitions and the work of fourteen of the most high profile contemporary artists: Adam Neate, José Parlá, Phil Frost, Anthony Lister, Andrew McAttee, Futura, James Marshall (Dalek), Boris Tellegen (DELTA), Mark Dean Veca, Ron English, Space Invader, Snug, Stash, and WK Interact.

Of course, there’s only ONE gallery that could have produced such a superb slice of exactly what’s was hot then and what’s hot right now, and that is Elms Lesters.

A visual feast of counter-culture, the works have been beautifully reproduced using the latest technologies and
specially selected inks on a variety of different papers. The book is structured with a number of ‘mini books’ within its pages, featuring in-depth interviews and analysis with each artist by art historian Ben Jones and also includes an interview with Elms Lesters Gallery owner and curator Paul Jones.

To coincide with the book, there is also a Christmas show, which started back on 5th Decemeber (Yes, we were a little late on this post), and continues through to the 20th December. The exhibition showcases new paintings by Adam Neate, Anthony Lister, Boris Tellegen (Delta), Futura, James Marshall (Dalek), José Parlá, Mark Dean Veca, Phil Frost, Ron English, Space Invader, Stash and WK Interact.
