WK Interact/Anthony Lister competition winners

Due to the high number of entries this competition received, the guys over at Elms Lesters Painting Rooms have kindly provided us with a few more pairs of tickets to this Thursday’s event than was originally planned.

In no particular order the winners of our WK Interact/Anthony Lister competition are Philip Gabriel, Paul Coombs, Cyril Delapraz, Spencer Hickman, Greg Beer, Jonathan Cave, Selena McKenzie, Tessa Bryson and Alexander O’Neill. Well done to them, they each win a pair of tickets to the private view. Sorry to all the people that entered and weren’t selected this time, keep your eyes peeled for more competitions in the pipeline.

The 2 copies of the book are to be awarded to Selena McKenzie and Philip Gabriel, congratulations to them. Get jumping for a selection of images of the book which can be picked up from Elms Lesters from Friday morning onwards.

WK Interact & Anthony Lister at Elms Lesters August 22 - September 20

To celebrate Elms Lesters Painting Rooms bringing two of our favourite artists, Anthony Lister and WK Interact, over to the UK for a joint show, UK Street Art have teamed up with the gallery to provide you lucky souls with a charming little competition, even if we do say so ourselves.

Not only will we be providing the winner with a pair of tickets to the private view on August 21, we’ve also got one copy of the frighteningly good 64 page, fully illustrated WK-Lister show book to give-away. If anyone saw the book Elms Lesters produced for the Adam & Ron or Delta shows you’ll know they don’t mess about.

So, notes on a postcard to competitions@ukstreetart.co.uk with ‘WK-Lister’ in the subject line please. We will be picking a winner on Monday August 18.

To see a handful of images of pieces to be included in the forthcoming show just click the link below.

Delta at Elms Lesters Painting Rooms

As the ‘Adam and Ron show’ draws to an end (there’s still a few Ron English prints left btw), Elms Lesters are starting to get ready for their next arrival - Delta from Holland. Opening on June 6 it’ll be the dutch master’s first solo UK show and to be fair it’s long overdue.

Starting out tagging the streets of Amsterdam back in 1984, Boris Tellegen AKA Delta, is now an internationally acclaimed artist renowned for his complex and unique style. In short, he’s sik.

Also, not meaning to jump the gun but Elms Lesters seem to have confirmed Antony Lister and WK Interact for the show following Delta. Ah what a summer it’s shaping up to be…
