VNA issue 30: Futura

VNA issue 30 launched on Thursday and the guys described it as a landmark issue. Why? you may ask. Well, that’s because the cover artist and main feature is Futura, Leonard McGurr, formerly known as Futura2000.

Inside, they also cover work from Reka, who gives a retrospective of his work on canvas and on walls. Comic book genius Rufus Dayglo gives a glimpse into his wild world of outlandish characters and Italian artist Mr Thoms splashes some paint around on walls.

Taking a look back on the journey of D*Face’s StolenSpace Gallery, the mag delves into the story behind SS becoming one of the world’s most well-respected art galleries.

As well as the usual shots from the streets of London, they also take a look at murals in Malmö and our regular Instagram spotlight shows off the amazing industrial imagery of Dark Cyanide.
