You may have heard of Pinterest before (we’re sure many of you have and are probably using it in some form). Pinterest is a way of collecting the things you love by easily organising and displaying imagery that describes your interests, your tastes and anything else you might have decided to put together.

Pinterest got in touch recently and we’re happy to announce that they are launching in the UK today. You may be thinking “But it is already available, here in the UK?” but the team behind the pinning game have fine-tuned a few things to make sure that UK visitors get an experience that is geared around things that would be relevant to them.

Here at UKSA, we’re using Pinterest to collect together images of graffiti and street as obviously it’s a very visual topic, and so the site allows us to collect together some of our favourite things. In the near future we want to be able to allow the readers of this site to help contribute and archive their favourites too and so keep your eyes peeled for that very soon!

We’re fairly new to the ‘pinning’ game, as we’re trying to work out the best way of using the platform to share our content with their users and vice versa, but the aim is to continue and build up a good collection on there.
