Skate Interiors Skateboard Furniture

Skate Interiors launches it’s first ever furniture exhibition, a showcase of conceptual furniture made from brand new or recycled Skateboards and components, a collaboration of talent and bespoke skateboard art from Barry Kay, Si Skipp and Scott Horsey Walker.

The 29th and 30th November will see a furniture exhibition pop up at the White Building in Hackney Wick, showcasing an eclectic array of never seen before lamps, lighting, hooks, tables, chairs, coat stands, fixtures & fittings – prices range from £25.00 – £3,000.

Every piece is unique and a one off, some of the work created from new skateboards alongside those from recycle products and materials; normally associated with high end skateboarding/ramp construction.

“I wanted to create stand out pieces for homes & offices but this is only the beginning… I’m exciting about working with Si & Scott on other collaborations – we are bursting with ideas!” Barry Kay

“The recycled boards are from sponsored/pro/former pro skaters, the boards have been used for high performance levels, no one will have owned a coffee table that has slid down a twenty stair handrail, I like that.”  Si Skipp

“It has been excellent to see the amount of enthusiasm, creativity and ability one person has to fabricate anything into something” Scott Horsey Walker

It’s FREE entry, FREE parking, and FREE drinks for the early birds through the door.
