Burning Candy at Sartorial Art: competition

Author: 3 Comments Share:

After four successful years in the pleasant surroundings of Notting Hill, Sartorial Art are moving on to bigger (literally) and better things. Choosing to throw their proverbial hats down slap bang in the middle of Kings Cross’ emerging art scene, the team are continuing in their forward-thinking direction.

Kicking things off in the spanking new 6000 foot space with a double exhibition, one of which will be Burning Candy, featuring the inescapable talents of the Before Chrome boys, Sweet Toof and Cyclops, plus Tek 33. The shows will run from October 15 – November 11, with the private view on October 15 from 5 – 11pm.

Accompanying Burning Candy is a book of the boys’ exploits over the years, rich with photography and interesting commentary, it’s a very good read. Sweet Toof, Cyclops and Tek 33 have kindly signed 10 copies for us, if you’d like one drop us an email to competitions@ukstreetart.co.uk to be entered into the draw. The winners will be announced on Tuesday October 14.

After the jump check out a selection of pics from the book. And we’ll have an interview with the artists in the lead up to the show so keep your eyes peeled for that too.
