Book review: The Street Art Stencil book by ON. Studio

Author: No Comments Share:

We received a copy of the The Street Art Stencil book by ON. Studio in the post this week and thought best to put a small review up here for all of you readers.

Simply put, it’s a book full of 20 short profiles on some of the top artists in the game alongside a pull-out stencil from each of the artists. Each laser-cut stencil is cut on some thicker stock than your usual paper so it should last a while after repeated use. Put together by ON. Studio and published by Laurence King, this book features an interview with Blek Le Rat in the opening pages, one of the founders of the movement.

Featured artists include: Alexandre Orion, Blek Le Rat, Paul Insect, Aiko, Eine, Pure Evil, Borf, Nick Walker, B Toy, Logan Hicks, XOOOOX, Ben Frost, C215, Bandit, D-Face, M-City, Hush, Eelus, Jef Aerosol, Mantis,

ON.Studio is a London-based graphic design company run by partners Oliver Walker and Nigel Roberts. Books designed by ON.Studio include ‘Guerilla Art’, ‘Art by Tattooists: Beyond Flash’ and monographs of artists Paul Insect and JR for the Lazarides Gallery.

You can pick up a copy from Laurence King for £19.95 here
