UKSA is shouting out to all UK based artists and fellow UKSA followers to get involved in a one off art project with London Miles Gallery in West London (www.londonmiles.com).

The installation, an ambitious 15ft tower will be constructed entirely out of 1000 recycled cardboard boxes. Each box will be individually redesigned and painted to suit each artist’s unique vision. The installation will be built inside the atrium of Westbourne Studios in conjunction with the launch of London Miles‘ much anticipated exhibition ‘The Next Generation.’ The exhibition itself will showcase the work of 45 New Contemporary artists from around the globe and will be open to the public from the 11th of June until the 4th of July.

This community based project aims to help build a platform for emerging artists living in London. The project’s main objective is to raise awareness about the wealth of artistic talent within our surrounding communities as well as promoting the important role art plays in bringing people together and creating common bonds. The project is open to up and coming artists as well as anyone feeling particularly creative, so please help spread the word.
