For their first UK artist collaboration, Vans have teamed up with skate and graff stalwart, Dave The Chimp. Having long been in the skateboard game, designing countless decks, merchandise and related magazines, the monkey man has also been a firm graffiti fixture on the streets of London, so the collaboration comes as no surprise.

As part of the colab there’ll be a shoe, exclusive to Size?, a Hessen Metal skatedeck (Hessen Metal is the skateboard hardware producer that Dave is Head Designer at) and a homage to Dave’s fanzine creation with a Vanzine (pics of all after the jump). 

The shoe will be launched in the UK on Wednesday September 24 with a party at Cargo (free entry), with performances from Robots In Disguise and a few others, as well as live art from the man himself.
