Introducing: Victym

Fraser from Victym Studio dropped us a line earlier this week and I’ve been meaning to make a post about this new studio, so here it is.

Victym launched in May, from their based in Twickenham through a preview showcase of their first collection “Manifest” at Tupelo Honey Cafe in the heart of Camden. Artists Fraser Gillespie and James Hanrahan front the collective, both having a background in art and design. This, combined with their creative drive, led to the founding of the collective.

Both Fraser and James are graphic designers who have a passion for screen-printing. Utilising this passion, a family of artists was born, all of them itching to inspire.

“For the past 8 months we have been working vigorously. Using this time to produce pieces to feature in the debut collection, but also to establish the brand. The identity of this being a natural reflection of both of our working styles. By introducing expertise from up and coming, to the more established artists means for a more diverse display of talent, catering for a vast audience.”

We’re big fans of their work here at UKSA, and feel the graphic output combined with a “street art” aesthetic combine to create a very strong line of 20 prints that are very reasonably priced. With the first show and an ever-expanding community of satisfied customers and loyal friends, Victym are growing from strength to strength on a daily basis and we are looking forward to their continuing quality output.

Keep your eyes peeled for their clothing range coming soon and to keep up to date, follow the guys on Facebook and Twitter.
