I am under the impression that the picture of Abraham Lincoln pushing homeless belongings in a cart such as this is a throw back to cartoons of that period mocking our 16th Presidents decision to abolish slavery. This characterization is typically seen in racist propaganda literature. How are you familiar with it? I have been tempted to do a drive-by several times in the past and “white” it out, always wondering the artist’s intent. So tell me..what is your message and why use Lincoln?
