It’s time to celebrate the one year anniversary of Unit44 in Newcastle as they look back on a year’s worth of top shows. To celebrate, this Thursday sees the guys throw a show at the usual space with artwork from Eelus, Prefab77, Stormie Mills, Remi Rough, SheOne, Mr Penfold, C215, Darren Henderson, & Hush.

They will also be showcasing works from Faile, Olly Moss, Roa, Shepard Fairey, Seb Lester, Swoon, Laser 3.14, Jon burgerman, and David Bilbrough. The event is a snap shot of the year that the team have had, the artists that have taken part in the White Walls Project, and a glimpse into the future plans for Unit44.

Faile and Bast will be taking over London’s Lazarides Gallery on Greek Street from February 12. Faile and Bast fans can expect an experienced based on 1980s popular culture. Faile works will be on sale, starting from a measley £2!

Faile will also be mounting a retrospective exhibition at Lazarides Rathbone space.

San Francisco’s Fecal Face took full advantage of the fact they live on the very same shores as the mighty Faile by popping along to the collective’s studio shortly before they shipped their spoils over to the mean streets of Vauxhall for ‘Lost In Glimmering Shadows‘.

And yes, we have done this in the wrong order and should indeed have shown you the studio pics before the show pics but hey, we didn’t – ah well. Hindsight ay?

As well as naming the location of their forthcoming London show, Faile have also kindly released another image on their site (pictured). Apparently the image won’t feature in the show, it’s just another taster to whet our appetite.

As the crew put the finishing touches to their new show Lost in Glimmering Shadows, a few more creatives are beginning to leak out of the Faile vault. ‘Betrayal Story’ (pictured), is one such piece to feature in the show set to open on November 6 in a dis-used school in Vauxhall, a couple more after the jump.
