Good to see that Insa‘s already been getting cracking on some work for Mutate Britain which takes place this weekend (Nov 21-23) as part of Cordy House’s ‘Behind The Shutters‘ series. We all know that Cordy House is a killer venue, so it’s great that it’s being put to good use with BTS, a series that will open the venue up four times a year for hand-picked groups to take over and turn it into art galleries, carnivals and whatever else they like.
For more on Behind The Shutters check their blog here.
After the jump catch the flyer for Mutate Britain. The line-up is ridiculous; EINE, Eelus, Mode2, Part2ism, Paul Insect, Pure Evil, Remi/Rough, the list goes on.

Thursday November 27 is going to be a busy night on the gallery scene. If you were already weighing up whether to hit Jon Hammer’s show at Brick Lane gallery or Herakut’s show at Camp Barbossa, Stella Dore have now thrown their hat into the ring by announcing that their group show ‘Make Over’ – the first show in their new space – will be on the very same night. It’s like the Spice Girls vs All Saints all over again, man we just don’t know which way to turn.
The exact address of the new Stella Dore gallery is still unconfirmed but it’s safe to say that Old Street will be your nearest tube station.
On another albeit related note, Stella Dore have announced the inclusion of Brighton based Pam Glew to their illustrious roster, hopefully we’ll see a few of her works in the show.

If on these bleak winter’s days you’re after a little brightening up, we’d advise swinging through Chapel Place on Rivington Street for James Roper‘s show, it’s open until December 20. It’s not street or urban art, but you might like it anyway.
After the jump check out a couple more pieces from the show.
For more info visit Forster Gallery here.
