To celebrate the launch of BLANK NO MORE we’re hosting a FREE bash with our friends at the Social to showcase the amazing artwork and launch the 8 week long exhibition.
The night will feature DJ sets from London’s leading club promoters and record label Another Music = Another Kitchen, Toshiki Ohta, Watkins (Dafts Punks) plus special guests.
As an added bonus our good friends at San Miguel, and spotters of the freshest talent, have ensured there will be enough of their top quality lager to help oil those dancing limbs…
The preview and free drinks runs from 6.00pm – 7.30pm and then head downstairs until 1am for a proper old shindig downstairs. It’s almost bank holiday weekend so we might as well get on it…

OUR MANIFESTO
Whether it’s a movement in art, a shift in culture or a musical revolution – soon enough the media catches on, waters it down and feeds it to the masses. They eat it up, but some of us remain hungry for what sparked our original interest.
We don’t just want to settle for what’s put in front of us, we want something that’s going to excite us, challenge us and inspire us to get out there and do something ourselves.
We’re a collective with a real desire to share the passion we have for artists (both new and old) and the work they produce.
Our aim is quite simply to showcase the artists and designers we find interesting and make their work more accessible and affordable to a new audience through the production of bespoke, high quality screen prints.
We’ve searched for people and work that inspire us and think worthwhile sharing.
Hopefully you’ll share our vision.
OUR PRINTS
We’re passionate about the quality of our prints. In fact, each print is pressed and finished by hand on the best paper we could find – and they don’t get much better than the 100% Cotton Somerset Satin paper made by St. Cuthberts Mill (ours is a 310gsm).
The paper is also ‘Tub Sized’ which means they are soaked in a sizing bath after the paper is made – this allows the ink to sit on top of the paper instead of being absorbed.
Each limited edition print is hand printed, signed, embossed with the Blank No More seal and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
HOW DO WE SCREEN PRINT?
It’s a print produced by forcing ink through a mesh or screen stretched across a frame.
Each colour in an image is laid down onto paper by pushing ink through a very fine mesh. To create the image we block off areas on the mesh where we don’t want the ink to touch the paper. By creating numerous meshes, one for each colour, we slowly build up a complete picture.
It’s a labour intensive process but it creates the great results we’re looking for.
WHY SCREEN PRINTS?
While there are other methods of printing, we feel that screen prints boast the best quality and most vibrant colour effects available.
We’ve long felt that the quality of the print produced is more real and tangible – the ink has been pushed through by a person not a machine – and we love the small variations between the prints that this creates.
It makes each one our prints truly unique.
