Last week we were invited to attend the London Art Fair 2014 courtesy of Infiniti, who provided a chauffeur-driven car and VIP entry to the preview evening.

The London Art Fair is the UK’s premier Fair for Modern British and contemporary art and so were excited to see a good mix from all of the galleries on show.

On Tuesday evening we were picked up by our driver Alec, in an Infiniti car and whisked off to the fair in London’s Business Design Centre in Angel, Islington.

Taking a leisurely ride from Covent Garden up to the show, we chatted with Alec about the car and upon arriving at the door, we felt relaxed – who wouldn’t sitting on a plush leather seat instead of a tube carriage?

Upon arriving at the show, we were whisked upstairs to start our tour of the many galleries displaying artworks from all sorts of artists, ranging from painting, illustration through to African inspired street art pieces.

Of course, we spotted a piece from the infamous Chapman Brothers “Fuck Face” exhibition downstairs and spent some time chatting and drinking with the gallery.

We rounded up the night with a quick tour of the second floor, where an amazing illustrated map of London’s history through the ages caught our eye and we spent some time gawping at it, paying close attention to the details in the drawings.

Alec was waiting outside for us at 9pm and he gave us a lift home – perfect end to a great evening.

Thanks again to Infiniti, Alec and the London Art Fair for the hospitality, car and drinks! Here’s to next year.
